2025 Golden Apple Award winners announced

The Associated Students of Boise State University have announced the winners of this year’s Golden Apple Awards.

The Golden Apple Awards are a student-led award program that recognizes faculty for excellent teaching and efforts to better include students in their classrooms. Over 240 nominations were received, coming from all colleges and schools across the university, including the graduate and the honors colleges. The student members of the award committee selected the recipients they felt best exemplified the spirit of the award.

  • Lori Hausegger – School of Public Service
  • BJ Albertson – College of Engineering
  • Dmitri Tenne – College of Arts and Sciences
  • Caroline Earley – College of Arts and Sciences
  • Julia Broderick – College of Arts and Sciences
  • Serena Morales – College of Education

The Associated Students of Boise State University debuted a new Academic Freedom Award this year. That award was presented to Sondra Miller from the College of Engineering.
