FY 2026 Open Enrollment has ended
Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment is now open. This is a once-a-year opportunity where Boise State benefit-eligible employees can:
- Make changes to medical or dental plans without a qualifying life event
- Enroll or re-enroll in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Elections made during Open Enrollment are effective July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026, unless a qualifying life event occurs. No action is needed if you’re not changing coverage or enrolling in an FSA.
Open Enrollment Tasks
The Office of Human Resources and Workforce Strategy encourages all employees to take a few minutes each year to review and update their contact and beneficiary information. Additionally, we strongly recommend reviewing the FY26 Benefit Changes to learn more about updates to premiums and contribution limits.
- Update Personal and Emergency Contact Information: Please ensure your legal name, current address, and emergency contacts are accurate and up to date in Bronco Hub. Step-by-step instructions can be found in this job aid.
- Update Retirement Beneficiaries: Please review your retirement account beneficiaries. Updates must be made directly through your retirement plan provider (Fidelity or PERSI). For provider contact details, refer to the Retiring Website.
- Review FY26 Benefit Changes: Review the FY26 Benefit Changes for updates to premium rates and contribution limits. For detailed coverage comparisons for each of our medical plans, please refer to the Medical Plan Comparison Charts.
Instructions to Change Benefit Elections
If you wish to make any changes to your benefit elections for FY26, please follow the steps below:
- Decide on FY26 FSA Enrollment: Review the available FSA options, which include Healthcare FSA, Dependent Care FSA, or Limited FSA (for HDHP enrollees only). If you plan to participate in an FSA, you’ll need to set up your Navia Member Portal by creating a login on their website. If you do not wish to enroll in an FSA, this action is not required.
- Submit FY26 Benefit Changes in Bronco Hub: This year, Human Resources and Workforce Strategy is introducing a more streamlined, confidential experience through Bronco Hub, Boise State’s online system. Review the Benefits Elections Checklist and Guide to determine any changes you’d like to make for FY26. After completing the checklist, follow step-by-step instructions in the Benefits Enrollment Job Aid to submit your selections through the enrollment process in Bronco Hub. All benefit election changes must be submitted through the Benefits tile in Bronco Hub no later than 11:59pm (MT) on Friday, May 9, 2025. No changes will be accepted after this deadline.

- Walk-In Hours: Drop by for help with Open Enrollment questions or the Bronco Hub enrollment process. Computers will be available.
- Open Enrollment Overview: Join this online session to learn about benefit and premium updates for the FY26 Open Enrollment cycle.
