[Morgan] Hi, I’m Morgan, a junior studying elementary education, and I’m also a resident assistant. Today I’m going to give you an inside look at the rooms, building amenities, and community of the residence hall. I currently call home: the Osprey. Come with me.
The Osprey is home to approximately 270 students. This apartment style residence hall is designed for sophomores above, offering a blend of independence and convenience. The Osprey is located across Capitol Boulevard right by Ann Morrison Park, the Micro Business and Economics Building, and the center for Visual Arts, with its modern design and unbeatable location in the Lusk District.
It’s perfect for students looking to experience campus life while enjoying some extra freedom.
This building has so much to offer. Each unit comes with its own kitchen, living room, and laundry, and there are 2 to 4 person suite options available. Plus, the bedrooms come fully furnished with a full size bed, closet, dresser, desk and chair. Room types include three types of single rooms with both private and shared bathroom options. To see the different layouts, check out our Bronco Crib series. One of the highlights of the Osprey is the in-unit laundry and fully equipped
kitchen, complete with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, oven, and stove top. The building has a gym and study areas.
One of my favorite features of this building is a second floor patio,
perfect for relaxing with friends or getting some fresh air while studying.
The Osprey staff are here to make your experience amazing. From planning fun events like craft nights, battle of the floors, cooking and more to helping with any questions you have, they’re always ready to assist.
My favorite part of being a resident assistant is getting to know and connect with each of my residents. Living at the Osprey means you’re right across the street from Boise State campus and just steps from Ann Morrison Park. Whether you want to float the river or play sand volleyball, it’s all right there.
I hope you enjoyed your tour of the Osprey today. This residence hall
truly combines independence with the benefits of the campus community. So just to recap, the Osprey offers apartment style living within unit kitchens and laundry. It also offers modern amenities like a gym and patio, and a location that’s close to campus, Ann Morrison Park, and downtown Boise.
If you’re interested in living here, visit the Boise State Housing website for more information. And don’t forget to check the deadlines.
Hope to see you here soon!
