Have a set of paints you won’t be using in a future course? Don’t need those ceramics tools anymore? Want to save some money on purchasing a drawing board? Don’t want to take your locker contents home?
At the end of each academic year, during the last few weeks of the Spring semester, the Department of Art, Design, and Visual Studies will provide a room and times for students to participate in a swap meet for art supplies you may no longer need.
Meetings
Attend one of these meetings to coordinate with fellow students:
- Spring 20205
- May 7 & 8, 12:00pm – 3:00pm, CVA439
Students will be responsible for payments to one another (think Venmo, Zelle, cash), trading one item for another, etc. The department will not participate in the interactions.
Donations
Any items left in the room after the meeting times will be donated. Please do not leave items in the room if you are saving them for someone.
If you no longer need supplies and don’t want to participate in the swap meets, feel free to utilize the “Free Shelf” located on the 4th floor of the Center for the Visual Arts building.
